88/366 When we are travelling we try to spend most of our time exploring on foot. We may see less of the major attractions that way, but are instead able to get more of a feel for the place that we are visiting, not to mention some time out from the crowds of other tourists. During such wanderings we can equally stumble onto beautiful hidden gems or rundown corners and not knowing which we’ll stumble upon adds to the sense of discovery. The photo today is definitely more the second case than the first, though it has its charm for me. I can’t exactly explain why I clicked the shutter button here, but it has to do with the way the Summer afternoon sunlight was reflecting off the roof, the dark corners and the shapes formed by the shadows. A photograph to remind me of a feeling, if you will.
