90/366 We came across the statues of three monks in the Danish King’s Garden in Tallinn and in shadow as they were, I was immediately tempted to set up an image contrasting the dark monks with the extremely bright St. Nicholas’ Church beyond. Of course I gave in and after wandering around a bit and trying out various compositions I settled on this one. I tried to give it a bit of a slightly ominous feel by getting close to the statue of the monk and using the perspective of the super wide lens to make it appear as if he is looming over the viewer.
