106/366 Upon waking up the first morning after a short night’s sleep, I enjoyed an amazing breakfast at the hotel, then packed up and hit the streets. It was my first time in Athens and I couldn’t wait to see the sights and experience the capital of Greece firsthand. With its domination of the city skyline the Acropolis beckoned me and I followed the main tourist mile up to its main gates. I wasn’t going to visit it just yet, though, as my wife and I had planned to see it together after her arrival later in the week. Instead, I headed up to the top of Areopagus Hill and enjoyed the views of the Acropolis and the city below.
