Small scenes #3

113/366 Through photography my powers of observation have definitely been improving. Previously I would find myself either thinking about one thing or another and effectively walking around with my eyes closed. That old me would have never noticed this fire hydrant and would have walked right on by. In fact, he did on multiple occasions. I’m still unaware of the reason for the embellishment, but finding this image in my archive has reminded me take up the investigation once again.
