125/366 Coming from a digital photography standpoint, I always struggled with making my photographs technically perfect. Photographing on film has helped to free me of this and opened a whole new language that is transmitted by the medium. To push myself further out of my comfort zone I decided to push a black and white film by two stops and create some images that were full of texture. In this case, I like the interaction of the grain with the falling snow and the roughness that the entire image receives.

Brilliant. I LOVE pushing b&w film towards the extremes. The grain works really nice here together with the snow.

Thanks again Christian! I am *really* looking forward to working with pushed HP5 again, the grain is outstanding. Maybe it will be dark enough these next few days…
