A great escape

131/366 The idyllic town of Napflion situated on the Argolic Gulf is by all accounts a very popular weekend destination for Athenians. We were able to enjoy it without the crowds, as despite the weather, it doesn’t seem to be all that popular at the beginning of November. We only had about 90 minutes here, so lunch and a walk along the harbour was all that we were able to manage.
Sitting atop the hill behind the town is the Fortress of Palamidi. Even now as I am typing these words it is calling me to return and explore it. And I might do just that, when I have the good fortune to once again step foot into this beautiful corner of the world.
