237/366 Located not oh so far away from Zurich, Canton Glarus has become one of our favourite locations for day trips. Easily and quickly accessible by train, the main valley offers numerous hiking paths that snake away from the various towns and villages. The trails also extend along the plateaus above the steep rocky walls of the valley, from which one is privy to a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains.
