303/366 Even before the halfway point we had to call it – we were soaked and too poorly prepared to complete the hike. The last act was to enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant on the lake.
I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get to the top, but I had so much fun regardless. With better preparation it would have been no problem. Hiking in such conditions may offer lesser views than normal, but it is an experience in itself, one that is fantastic for photography and one that I can totally recommend to everyone.
