On geometry

308/366 Geometry is often a focus of mine when doing what I call ‘observational photography’ in black and white and so it was quite obvious to give it a try in colour. I did find it significantly more difficult to compose strong images around geometry in colour, as the colours themselves can distract the eye away from the shapes and forms in the image. These three images solve this riddle by either having a very strong geometric design (1) and/or combine geometry with very soft colours (2 & 3).
