It is time to begin

The analogue photography bug bit me this year and I have found myself spending ever more time shooting, developing and scanning film. However, very few of these images have seen the light of day as they do not fit into neat stories compatible with my existing photo blog Valley of Stars.
The raison d’être for this blog is to give my analogue images a place to be displayed, one that is loose and where the focus is on the images themselves. To give myself a framework and a little kick in the behind, I have decided to set forth on a 365 project, in which I will attempt to post an image that I have personally committed to film every day for one year. It seems like quite the task as I sit in front of the computer typing these words, but like in every other long-term endeavour, the key is to focus on the little steps and not try to tackle everything at once (or let it tackle you). Regardless of whether I succeed or fail, I am certain that the project will breathe new life into my photography. And that is enough for me. 🙂
