Working together

149/366 My next first was to head out with another, more experienced film photographer and walk the streets of Baden with him, talking photography and taking the occasional image. He was mostly interested in architecture, so that is what we photographed. With my limited experience in this kind of photography, the results were rather lacklustre, but on nightfall a whole new world of reflections and interest opened up to me. While not perfect, I remember being pretty happy with the pure strangeness I was able to achieve in this photo, my last one for the night.

  1. strangeness is the word here, as I don’t know the place I don’t really understand the dimensions… but an interesting strangeness!

    1. Thanks Christian! I really enjoyed working with the reflections on the bottom of the image, but had trouble deciding what to do with the top half. In the end I just decided to make the image and see how it turned out. I think the half normal, half strange aspect of the image works quite well, but I’d definitely like to revisit the location with fresh eyes.
