Past to future

253/366 Standing in the train station in Aarau waiting for the train to take me back to my standard work day, I found myself admiring the lines of, and the reflections from, the building opposite. I quickly committed a few images to film as the train was arriving, thinking that they could result in some interesting geometric compositions.
Well I wasn’t wrong, but what ended up coming to mind while editing the images were philosophical ponderings on the past and future. The first image in particular with the convergence of lines and gradation of dark to light gave rise to such thoughts.
Do you believe in fate? Do we live our lives following a straight line from past to future?
