358/366 And now we return back to Summer! It’s nice to look at some warm images for a change and divert my mind away from the wet and wintry weather outside… I never meant to hold them back for this long, but a combination of waiting to get the slides developed and running into difficulties getting the colours right on the negative film made it so.
A big anyway later, this Summer we made a short get away to the town of Wengen in the Jungfrau region. The three main mountains in this region are quite famous and I’d be surprised if you hadn’t heard of at least one of them: Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Arriving after sunset after a hard days’ work, we enjoyed the twilight hours and got settled into our hotel that would be our home for the next three days. We weren’t there to just hang around, however, and early next morning we set out on the first trail, one that would take us up to Kleine Scheidegg and to the feet of the three great giants.
