356/366 As Autumn progressed, the weather changed very quickly from fine and warm to cold and foggy. These images were taken on one of the few transition days, when it was dark and wet in the forest, yet still warm. The colours in those conditions were so vibrant that it would have been a shame to reach for the faster black and white film I had with me, so I turned to slide film despite its slow speed. Having left my tripod at home, however, I was left to open up the aperture on the lens and hope to get the subjects in the very thin plane of focus. Et voila the results; colour comes to the dream forest.
